Power Dog was started by Liz Powers, MPT, CCRT. Liz has been a Licensed Physical Therapist since 1999,
receiving her Masters in Physical Therapy from American International College. She has had an interest in working with
dogs since 2000, at which time she took classes in Canine Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation through the American Physical
Therapy Association, and at the University of Tennessee. In 2009, she became a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Therapist
(CCRT) through the Canine Rehabilitation Institute (Wellington, FL), and opened a Canine Rehabilitation facility in Northampton,
Massachusetts.
Liz has training in Orthopedics, Manual Therapy, Aquatic Therapy, Craniosacral Therapy, Wound Healing, Geriatrics, Therapeutic
Ultrasound, Low Level Laser Therapy, and other modalities typically used by Physical Therapists to treat neuromusculoskeletal
injuries in dogs.

treadmill!

Many conditions can improve with the proper exercises and treatment.
A Power Dog session usually lasts for 1/2 hour. The first session
is an evaluation and lasts for 1 hour.
